From Legnano to Mazzo di Rho
The standard route is A8 Milan-Lakes, Castellanza-Legnano exit, then SP233 toward Lainate-Rho. Thirteen kilometres, 18 minutes outside peak hours. On weekdays A8 can slow down between 7:30 and 9 AM (commuter exit toward Milan) and in the 6-7 PM return window. For those coming from southern Legnano, the Lainate exit is a valid alternative that skips the Castellanza-Lainate stretch. SS33 Sempione is a secondary, toll-free route but slower.
Legnano and its district
Sixty thousand inhabitants make Legnano one of the province’s main cities, not a satellite town. The textile district along the Olona, although smaller than its twentieth-century peak, still sustains a network of small and medium-sized firms in manufacturing, logistics and engineering. The ASST Ovest Milanese hospital and its healthcare ecosystem add another layer of mobility. For Tommy By the typical Legnano customer isn’t the private individual looking for the workshop nearest home (Legnano already has good ones), but the fleet manager of a small business looking for a partner to handle 8-15 company vehicles on a scheduled basis.
What we offer that’s worth the 18-minute drive
- Scheduled pickup/delivery windows for company fleets in the district
- Parallel handling of multiple company vehicles on the same day
- Complete body shop with water-based oven painting under one roof, without external subcontracting
- Advanced electronic diagnostics on light commercial vehicles with recent ADAS systems
