Jeep workshop and body shop

Jeep is a special brand for owners who want a SUV with genuine 4x4 credentials. We regularly work on the Renegade, the Compass, the Avenger (including the electric version) and — less often but always part of the mix — on the Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee. The post-2018 range shares a lot of mechanical content with other Stellantis brands (the Renegade with the 500X, the Compass base with the Tonale), which keeps parts availability healthy. The plug-in 4xe hybrids call for dedicated HV system diagnostics. Tommy By is an independent multi-brand workshop: under EU Regulation 461/2010 (Block Exemption), the Jeep manufacturer's warranty stays valid when you service here, with parts of equivalent quality and the booklet stamped.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Jeep

Do you work on the Jeep 4xe PHEV systems (Renegade, Compass, Wrangler)?

Yes. The 4xe set-up combines a 1.3 GME T4 combustion engine at the front with a 96 kW electric motor on the rear axle and an 11.4 kWh battery pack under the floor. We carry out the combustion engine's scheduled service, check the battery cooling system and run HV diagnostics. For cars used hard off-road we also verify the integrity of the battery casing at subsequent services.

Does a Jeep Wrangler used off-road need special maintenance?

Yes. Wranglers that see real off-road use run on tighter maintenance cycles for the differentials, the transfer case, the suspension bushings and the underbody protection. We follow Jeep's "off-road" or "severe-duty" guidance where applicable, with checks on differential seals and half-shafts.

Do you handle the Selec-Terrain system and its different 4x4 modes?

Yes. Selec-Terrain offers five modes (Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud, Rock) that adjust torque distribution, ABS, ESP and engine mapping. We diagnose faults with Stellantis-compatible equipment and verify the operation of the lockable differentials on the Rubicon.
