Settimo to Mazzo di Rho route
Ten kilometres, 15 minutes outside peak hours. Two main routes: the A4 Milan-Turin with the Pero exit (faster but tolled), or SP114 which crosses Cornaredo northbound (toll-free, similar timing). For those leaving from western Settimo (Vighignolo area) SP114 is the natural choice. From eastern Settimo (near the Cave) it can be more convenient to join A50 at Cusago and exit at Pero.
Settimo and its recent profile
Unlike the historic municipalities of the catchment (Rho, Bollate, Pero), Settimo is a relatively recently urbanized municipality: most of the residential fabric has grown since the 1990s, with detached houses and small apartment blocks. This translates into an on-average younger population, with school-age children, and a vehicle fleet leaning toward recent family cars (3-7 years old) equipped with complex electronic systems and ADAS. For Tommy By the typical Settimo customer is the one looking for a workshop capable of handling advanced diagnostics, not just traditional mechanical repairs.
What Settimo customers most often bring in
- Services on recent cars with ADAS systems and complex ECUs
- Advanced electronic diagnostics after ECU warnings or electrical malfunctions
- Body shop work on urban collisions picked up on the commute to Milan
- Seasonal tire service with on-site storage
