Peugeot is one of the most widespread French brands in Italy, with a line-up that spans the 208 city car, the 3008 and 5008 SUVs and the electric e-208 and e-2008. Our workshop regularly handles the full range, with specific experience on the turbo PureTech (petrol) and BlueHDi (diesel) engines, on the Aisin e-AT8 eight-speed automatic and on the digital i-Cockpit (small steering wheel plus raised instrument cluster), which calls for compatible diagnostic equipment after work on ADAS sensors. Tommy By is an independent multi-brand workshop: under EU Regulation 461/2010 (Block Exemption), the Peugeot manufacturer's warranty stays valid when you service here, with parts of equivalent quality and the booklet stamped.

Frequently asked questions about Peugeot

Do you have experience with the oil-bath timing belt of the PureTech 1.2?

Yes. On PureTech 1.2 engines built up to 2022, the oil-bath timing belt is a known attention point: in some cases the belt has degraded early, releasing residue that clogs the oil pump. Stellantis has issued a campaign. We run a preventive inspection during the scheduled service and, on cars at risk mileage, recommend the upgrade to the new-generation belt with a shorter interval.

Do you work on the electric Peugeot e-208 and e-2008?

Yes. The electronics of the full-electric Peugeots are largely shared with the rest of the Stellantis EV line-up (Opel Corsa-e, Citroën ë-C4). We carry out standard maintenance (filters, brakes, tyres, climate control) and run HV battery diagnostics with compatible equipment. For HV cell-level work we refer the car to a specialist centre.

Do you handle the Aisin e-AT8 eight-speed gearbox and the digital i-Cockpit?

Yes. The e-AT8 is the Aisin eight-speed automatic fitted to the 3008, 5008 and 508. It needs gearbox oil renewal at the prescribed intervals to prevent slipping at low temperatures. The digital i-Cockpit (raised cluster and small steering wheel) carries cameras and sensors that need calibration with compatible equipment after windscreen or bumper replacement.
